I can't answer that one Pebbles:( Some have made the comment in the past that the virus may 'mutate' in harder to treat genotypes. How true this is I have no idea. The virus wants to live so maybe there is something there that does make it harder after trying more than once. But you give your liver a break in this time and all the while, they are working on tx's to help these people. So hopefully you will be given a chance to try some of the new meds and you never know, they may just work next time!
